We provide a multicultural environment rich in learning opportunities by teaching and occasionally taking advantage of other languages available in our community, including but not limited to sign language and Spanish. The children and their families are able to share of themselves, their culture and traditions. We provide opportunities for large motor activities such as dancing running and climbing. The small motor activities consist of practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, botany, and geography lessons. All this is done by presenting the lessons to the child in a way that is non-threatening to him/her.
Inside you will find information that will answer most of your questions. If you have any questions after you read this Parent Handbook, please do not hesitate to call, email me or stop by.
As you read this Parent Handbook, please keep in mind your child’s personality and your needs as a family. If in any way you disagree with any of CCLA’s policies we must address them before enrolling your child in the program. These policies are put into place because I strongly believe they aid us in running the program more efficiently and safely. CCLA’s ultimate goal is the safety and happiness of all who are involved in the program, especially our children.
Thank you for inquiring about CCLA’s program. Once you have reviewed these policies, feel free to schedule an appointment with me and your child’s future teacher. You will receive an enrollment packet, get to sit in your child’s classroom, go over the policies, and ask any questions you may have about our Academy.
